Interested in sustainability, water related issues or both?
Come to the Sustainability Research Network’s (SRN) 2nd Themed Research and Interest Networking Event on Thursday 9th June 2016 at 5 p.m., room B2, @ the Hemsley, University Park
The theme of this event is water.
We are calling upon researchers from all backgrounds with a personal interest in water or research projects that involve water. These could include technical aspects such as waste water management, hydro power or water filtering but also social aspects, landscapes, historical studies or geography studies. Those with a more general interest in sustainability are also very welcome.
If you are investigating a water related issue and you want to discover what is going on in different fields or you would simply like to have an insight on this and/or meet others interested in sustainability, please join us at the SRN water networking event on 9th June at 5pm, room B2 at the Hemsley.
The event will begin with a brief introduction from the SRN committee, followed by participants introducing themselves and sharing a very brief (1min max) overview of their interests and research.
We will then end the formal part of the event and allow participants to network with each other.
The SRN intends to run a series of these networking events, focusing on various themes of sustainability, over the upcoming academic year. If you know anyone who might be interested in joining SRN, please forward this email to them or invite them along.
Join us on Thursday June 9th and we look forward to your feedback and ideas for future sustainability focused networking events!
Please email us at SRN@nottingham.ac.uk if you plan to come so we can gauge the number of people attending. (But feel free to come along even if you don’t have the chance to reply!)
